In Plymouth, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Michigan, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (734) 420-0011. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is diamondcarwashanddetail.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 874 reviews, which is a strong result for a car wash in Plymouth and suggests consistent service.

This place is AWESOME. Will and Moe personally handled my car from start to finish, and I honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly professional, kind, and welcoming - I swear I felt like I was hanging out with friends by the time I picked up my Jeep! Communication was always quick, and they kept me updated throughout the entire process. My SUV was absolutely spotless, inside and out. And Will went above and beyond to give extra attention to a few areas I was particularly concerned about. He was incredibly friendly and conversational while still being super efficient and clearly taking a lot of pride in his work. I felt like he genuinely went out of his way to help me. - That level of customer service is rare, and I truly appreciate it. I couldn’t recommend Diamond Car Wash enough. If you need your car detailed, go see Will and his team. You won’t be disappointed!

The best service and awesome people!!! It is also great for kids. It is very entertaining for kids to watch the car’s getting washed. They have a huge selections of snacks if you want to snack on something while you wait.

I was concerned about taking my Tesla Model S through an automatic car wash as Tesla is known for easily damaged paint. I talked to an employee and a manager here and they let me know they could set the brushes to max retract to reduce the force of the brushes against the car. Super nice of them and it came out great!

Diamond Car Wash & Detail truly lives up to its name — a total gem of a car wash. The staff here were incredibly kind, professional, and thorough from start to finish. They treated my car with such care and attention, like it was their own. Every inch was cleaned to perfection — interior and exterior — and the results genuinely blew me away. My car hasn’t looked this clean since the day I bought it. They didn’t miss a single detail, and you can tell they take real pride in their work. If you’re looking for a place that goes above and beyond, Diamond Car Wash & Detail is it. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Got the in and out service at Diamond Car Wash and couldn’t be more satisfied. Mohammed and Ahmed were professional, friendly, and asked if there was anything specific I wanted them to focus on. The seating area while you wait is clean and comfortable. My car came out spotless inside and out — like brand new. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for top-notch service!
